Richard  Easton was named as one of Theater World’s “Promising Personalities of 1957-58” (other honorees that year included George C. Scott, Coleen Dewhurst, and Anne Bankroft).  He won the Best Actor Tony Award in 2001 for The Invention of Love and in 2008 he was inducted into the Broadway Hall of Fame. Other Broadway credits:Back to Methusela (Tyrone Power), The Country Wife (Julie Harris), School for Scandal (John Gielgud, Ralph Richardson), Noises Off, Henry IV (Kevin Kline, Ethan Hawke), The Rivals, The Coast of Utopia (with Billy Crudup), and Elling. Extensive Shakespeare at all three Stratford Festivals, RSC, The Old Globe in San Diego, APA at the Lyceum. Easton spent 6 years on the BBC Serial "The Brothers" and has appeared in the films,  Henry V, Dead Again; Finding Forrester, and Revolutionary Road. Join us as several of Richard's mentees (Melissa Friedman, Ethan Hawke, Aaron Krohn, James Wallert) come together to celebrate his 80th birthday!
