After Ebony is accused of being a “Whack Black”, she turns to the new prescription drug Melanol.
But when Melanol appears to her as kind of Fairy Godmother, things do not go as Ebony expected.

“The women in the Dominguez family are cursed!” Ophelia does not believe her mother or grandmother when she hears this.
But then a series of events makes her question whether or not her life is ruled by destiny or choice.
